President's Comment

Since being a toastmaster, I've received a lot of advice and help from not only club members but also many other toastmasters. Thanks to them I could learn what I should do to deliver a speech effectively and how to communicate with other people. And I sometimes heard toastmastering changed their way of thinking or their lives.

Eagerness for studying something improves your ability and skills, I think. We believe we can help you and it's our pleasure.

If you come to our meeting, you'll be able to become aquainted with many toastmasters who will no doubt impress you. And it'll be a very fruitful and inspiring experience for you.

I hope you are interested in our club. Please come and see us. We always welcome you.

You certainly have many good Ideas. And you have learned English for at least 6 years in the past. So, let's simply try to explain the ideas in English. Let's try to follow the direction of the Toastmasters International step by step. Let's just keep going and get together regularly.

And see what happens to you. I, myself, am amazed I became a president of this club. I have, never ever thought of becoming a leader myself. Now I understand I have developed a new character through the activity. And I am enjoying the new "me".

Please try it yourself. The fruits are all yours.

Thank you for your interest in our Nakakyushu Toastmasters Club. It is a club with enthusiastic members working hard to improve their communication skills in English and to become a competent leader in the society. The means of achieving these goals are speaking English in front of an audience and leading activities inside and outside of our club.

As the proverb says “Seeing is Believing”, please visit our meetings on the first and third Saturday every month from 6:30p.m. to 8:30p.m. I am sure you will learn through our Toastmasters activities while enjoying it, then you will subsequently broaden your horizon and make a closer bond with members, and develop life-long friendships. I believe your decision to become our club member will become a valuable inventory in your life. Please come and join our group to achieve your goals!
