Officer's Duty
President
The President leads our club and conducts club business. The President appreciates and takes advantage of the awarding system of the distinguished club plan which brings us a long term success club. As our club representative, the president maintains relationship with the District and with Toastmasters International, and if possible, attends Regional Conference and International Convention.
Vice President Education
VPE is responsible for planning successful Club meetings so that each member has the opportunity to achieve each one’s educational goals. VPE also promotes participation in educational programs like workshops, joint meetings , etc. VPE acts for President when necessary.
Vice President Membership
VPM is responsible to build club membership: following up on and keeping track of guests and new members joining. VPM explains the educational program to all prospective members. VPM also controls a declaration ceremony for a prospective member and assigns each new member a mentor, who usually is an experienced member.
Vice President Public Relations
VPPR is in charge of promoting our club and announcing the upcoming events such, as speech contests, using by local media and posters or fliers.
Secretary
Secretary is responsible to keep a membership roster and our club’s files, to prepare orders for Toastmasters International supplies and to record meeting minutes and general correspondence of our club.
Treasurer
Treasurer is responsible for money in our club. It is to prepare the annual budget for our club, pay all bills, collect payable dues, and send dues to World Headquarters. Treasurer has to keep all financial transactions and write financial reports.
Sergeant-at-Arms
SAA is responsible to make arrange the meeting room and equipment before the meeting begins and also to maintain club’s equipment and materials. This is the work we can always see before and after a meeting. All other attending members are urged to help them also.
Immediate Past President
The IP President, who was in charge of the president for the previous term, provides guidance and serves as a resource to Club officers and members. Also, the immediate past president is the chair of the Nomination Committee for the new president for the next term.
